Hey there!
My name is Kelsey! I’m a stay at home mom, who has a passion for all things health and wellness related. My interest in weight lifting started in high school with my now sweetheart when we were fifteen years old. We were the youngest people in our local gym back in 2015, just two kids chasing a pump 😂💪🏻. I saw how weight lifting improved all aspects of my life, and helped manage symptoms of Crohn’s disease.
Weight lifting lead to interest in nutrition, and how all of the systems within our bodies influence each other. I received my Bachelors Degree in Care Health and Society with a minor in Nutrition Science in December 2023, six years in the making, a marriage and two babies later. I love to learn about the body and how to manage our health with lifestyle prevention methods. -Which led me to Jesus and exploring more about Gods divine creation of life.
Before having my first daughter, I struggled deeply with my faith and truly ran away from God. I was battling unresolved sexual trauma, extreme people pleasing/ wanting to fill the void with peoples opinions of me, alcohol addiction and much more. I randomly started to pray to God, began repentance and was delivered in my home with a journal and the Holy Bible App. Many more events have strengthened my faith, such as navigating postpartum depression, with both of my pregnancies and feeling like my purpose was hopeless without a career. God met me in the dark corner of my bathroom and lifted me up, turned my eyes to scripture and once again showed me grace, when I had cursed His name.
God has done so many things in my life, correcting my heart posture and reframing the way I viewed my relationship with Him. He has satisfied every need I have, even when I am undeserving and running away. He is such a good Father!
My mission with this blog is to emphasize and explore the wonderful creation of the human body, designed by God. Our bodies are created perfectly in His image and we are to honor them with nourishment, movement, stress management, proper sleep, and so much more.
If you want to reframe the way you view the human body and see God’s provision for wellness, follow along on this journey with me! I’m so happy your here!
With Love,
Kelso🤍
