You Were Made for This

Hey 👋🏻 you were made for this season 🫶🏻

You will overcome the battles you find yourself stuck in.
You will gain strength on a solid rock of faith again.
You will prosper after this hard thing you’re facing.
You will receive the peace and rest you’re longing for.

God sees your struggle, He feels the same anguish you feel and He has not forgotten about you, your faith and your heart.

There have been times in my life where I have been so unsure of a decision that all I can do is cry. So sure of myself, of my path and my purpose that I felt like I was drowning in shame, confusion and pain.

If we review 2 Corinthians 4:18, we see the reminder to fix our eyes on faith, on our Father in heaven because His love is eternal. He can walk you through any season, good and bad. We have to persevere, we have to keep showing up, we have to hold steadfast to a mustard seed of faith because this is all in accordance to His plan.

THE ENEMY WANTS TO STEAL YOUR JOY
There will always be someone who is further ahead in that goal you have. Someone who has a better physique, longer hair, better at planning, higher in the career, dream or goals you have in your heart. That’s when we celebrate for them!

Bitterness will try to make you compare your progress with the person next to you. But this is YOUR life. Your life will look different than the person you see who seems to have it all together. Your journey will look different, -and that’s a good thing!

You have untouchable experiences, wisdom, talents and skills that makes you unique in Gods image! That is something to celebrate. As someone who works out, It feels so simple to compare my progress and journey to someone I don’t know in the gym. I use to train with so much anger and resentment for other women further ahead in their progress than me. I would be jealous of the weight they would pull, the muscle definition or their leanness. This was actually an attack from the enemy. The enemy doesn’t want you to see the potential in your spirit. He wants to keep you complacent, away from our Creator.

When you shift your comparison to compassion, you feel truly freed. I struggle from time to time with comparison, it’s in our flesh. But give those negative thoughts to God, watch Him rework the bitterness you hold in your heart and recognize your own potential. You only see things on the surface, you have no idea what that other person may be struggling with, walking through or the mental battle they are facing in their own mind.

”And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.“
Romans 8:28 NIV

Walk in confidence that God is lining all things out for your Good!!! When you feel bitterness, jealousy, comparison, say a silent prayer for that person- this was the most healing thing for me. Everything in this world is spiritual, so arm yourself with scripture, prayer and biblical wisdom to heal your inner brokenness. Encourage others, regardless of where you are at. God is working it out for you, remain faithful to the promise He has made you! Keep your eyes on you and His plan for you. I promise it will all work out!! 🤍

Love,

Kelso 🤎
